Mix it up with the Cinema Audio Society Awards!
DTS couldn’t be more excited to be part of the 58th annual Cinema Audio Society Awards on March 19. Celebrating excellence of craft in the film and television industry, outstanding nominees are uniquely chosen by fellow sound professionals. Each year, hundreds of entries are evaluated by experienced CAS members intimate with the art and science of sound.
In keeping with our reputation as industry leaders and cinematic pioneers, DTS is proud to sponsor the Student Recognition Award, honoring outstanding achievement in the sound mixing of a student film. DTS applauds the student nominees for their academic accomplishments, enthusiasm and demonstrated potential in the field of sound mixing and/or sound recording for film and television.
This year’s CAS Awards are also paying tribute to Sir Ridley Scott with the Filmmaker Award. His consistent collaborator, legendary re-recording mixer Paul Massey, will receive the Career Achievement Award.
DTS and the CAS Awards are a mix made in re-recording heaven. Experience the award-winning audio technology of DTS here.
