Allegiant
The Divergent Series: Allegiant, which opened on March 18, is being exhibited in next-generation DTS:X sound in select theaters, including the MuviCo 14 in Rosemont, IL and the Brendan Theaters at The Palms Las Vegas.
The third installment of the blockbuster Divergent series, Allegiant takes Tris and Four into a new world, beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known.
DTS:X is an object-based, multi-dimensional audio technology that replicates a real-world sound environment, conveying the fluid movement of sound through a space and around the listener, transporting the audience into a new dimension of sound immersion and delivering a premium entertainment experience.
By installing DTS:X-approved equipment that renders MDA files and plays audio in theaters outfitted within the DTS:X speaker configuration guidelines, theater owners can provide their audiences with the most compelling, immersive sound experience possible. The system’s inherent flexibility provides a compelling, immersive experience for moviegoers in any of their theaters, regardless of size or configuration.
