DTS and BBC Partner to Bring 18-Month Trial of DTS Connected Radio
DTS is proud to have annouced that it is collaborating with BBC Radio to bring an 18-month trial run of DTS Connected Radio. This trial will allow both DTS and BBC vital information on how to advance a digital radio strategy using this new platform.
As Jeff Jury, General Manager of Automotive Xperi, states “We are pleased to work with [BBC] to enrich our DTS Connected Radio offering to ensure the next generation of connected DAB radios remain the dominant choice in cars.”1
DTS Connected Radio is DTS’s newest hybrid radio system promising to bring an enhanced radio experience. The global hybrid radio solution will bring enhanced bradcast radio across all radio stations inclusive of analog, HD Radio, or DAB. By expanding content through album art, regional advertising, and more, DTS Connected Radio will provide a more engaging radio experience.
