Yamaha Announces 2 New Mass-Market Sound Bars Equipped with DTS Virtual:X
Our partners at Yamaha have had sustained success leading the sound bar industry thanks to their innovative design and features as well as their continued incorporation of DTS audio solutions. In line with their previous products, Yamaha’s latest mass-market sound bars, the YAS-209 and YAS-109, look to bring to consumers high-quality immersive virtual 3D surround sound thanks to DTS Virtual:X.
DTS Virtual:X sound technology allows consumers to enjoy multi-dimensional audio without the need for a tradition surround sound set up. Thanks to Virtual Height and Virtual Surround processing, DTS Virtual:X delivers exception acoustic performance.
In response to a question asking what makes these sound bars special, Takamichi Sato, Assistant Manager of Yamaha’s Product Strategy Group, stated, “we improved [the products] virtual 3D surround capabilities with DTS Virtual:X sound, which immerses audience in exhilarating surround sound from a single bar solution.”
The YAS-209 and YAS-109 sound bars are now available with DTS Virtual:X and DTS Digital Surround Support offered globally.
