Enhancing Audio Clarity: DTS Clear Dialogue at Audio Collaborative 2024 in London

On November 4, 2024, the DTS team had the pleasure of attending the Futuresource Audio Collaborative event in London. This prestigious conference brought together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to discuss the latest trends and advancements in audio technology.

What is DTS Clear Dialogue?

One of the highlights of our participation was showcasing DTS Clear Dialogue, a groundbreaking solution designed to enhance audio clarity. DTS Clear Dialogue focuses on isolating and amplifying dialogue in audio content, ensuring that every word is heard with crystal-clear precision. This technology is particularly beneficial in environments with background noise, making it easier for listeners to follow conversations without straining.

Martin Walsh’s Keynote Session

Our very own Martin Walsh, VP of Audio Research & Development, Xperi took the stage during a keynote session AI-Enhanced TV Audio: Clearer Dialogue, Better Sound to delve deeper into the capabilities of DTS Clear Dialogue. His presentation highlighted why there’s an industry need for a universal solution to unclear dialogue, the technical innovations behind our solution and demonstrated its real-world applications. Attendees were impressed by the live demonstrations, which showcased how DTS Clear Dialogue can transform the listening experience and switch off the subtitles again.

It was great to introduce the reasons why it’s so much more difficult to understanding what’s being said on TV these days and then watching a room full of people realize that its not just them!” Said Martin Walsh after the event. He continued “It was equally rewarding to watch them then acknowledge the difference Clear Dialogue technology will make towards solving that problem when they heard the demo.
