DTS at SXSW 2016
Building on the success of last year, FLOOD Magazine returned to SXSW for the second annual FLOODfest, presented by DTS. Hosted at Cedar Street Courtyard, FLOODfest featured four days of performances from artists including Vince Staples, Ra Ra Riot, MSTRKRFT, Poliça and Peaches, as well as buzzed about up-and-comers Grace Mitchell, Hinds, Gallant, XYLØ, and many more.
FLOODfest was featured in Nylon’s “The 15 Best SXSW Showcases To Attend This Week” and Yahoo’s “The 7 Best Things We Saw at SXSW 2016.”
In addition to presenting FLOODfest, DTS Space travelled to Austin and provided artists and guests a place to unwind amidst the madness of the festival at Isla, adjacent to Cedar Street Courtyard. On Friday and Saturday, KCRW’s Jason Bentley and Anne Litt broadcast Morning Becomes Eclectic live from DTS Space Austin.
