Hear DTS Clear Dialogue in Action
One of the biggest audio complaints people have when watching television is dialogue intelligibility. For good reason. There are a wide range of factors today that make dialogue difficult to understand. We’ve previously discussed those factors and the challenge of dialogue, as well as how using AI and machine learning can help solve the issue.
Recently we introduced DTS Clear Dialogue, which uses AI-based processing to identify and separate dialogue from other audio elements of the program. The solution allows viewers to personalize their experience by empowering them to adjust the volume between dialogue and non-dialogue audio to meet their unique listening needs.
Of course, talking about DTS Clear Dialogue and seeing it – or hearing it – in action are two different things. To best experience the benefits of DTS Clear Dialogue, we have created a video that really brings this important and engaging feature to life.
The video includes the multiple ways a TV OEM may choose to present DTS Clear Dialogue to their customer, whether it’s via a dedicated button on the remote or with a volume control overlay. And because DTS Clear Dialogue is content agnostic, the video shows how the product works for both dramatic content as well as live sports.
