CALABASAS, Calif., Jan. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — DTS Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessera Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: TSRA), and global leader in high-definition audio solutions, is pleased to announce its collaboration with LG on its new wearable personal speaker, the LG TONE Studio (model HBS-W120).

The LG TONE Studio is a neckband-type wearable personal speaker supporting Bluetooth connectivity to TVs and mobile devices. With DTS audio consultation and support, the LG TONE Studio delivers optimal sound balance and details. It creates a personal surround sound experience with four external speakers based on DTS Sound tuning technology. It also features hidden earbuds to provide consumers with an option for a more personal listening experience. The product is scheduled for launch in North America and Korea in the first quarter of 2017.
