DTS FRESHMAN CLASS: EMEROME

Hey! My name is Emerome and I’ve been a streamer for about a year and a half now. I’m from Toronto, Canada, and before streaming I was studying to be a lawyer. I started gaming when I was four or five. My mom got me my first game boy when I was pretty young and I’ve been addicted ever since!

I heard about streaming a few years ago and always thought it was cool. One day while I was playing a game during a study break I decided to boot up a stream and give it a try. It worked out, I decided not to go to law school, and here we are!

What game(s) do you play?
I play a lot of single player story-type games. Games like Assassins Creed and The Last of Us are my bread and butter. I’m starting to also get into multiplayer collaborative games too – I love jumping into something with my friends and really having a good time on stream. Sometimes I throw in the occasional horror game to REALLY mix things up.

What’s your favorite movie? Favorite song/artist?
My favourite movie series is The Lord of the Rings. I’m obsessed with Tolkien’s world and absolutely love rewatching those films as often as I can. As for music, I really love Majid Jordan’s songs right now.

How does it feel to be part of the DTS Freshman Class of streamers, and what are you looking forward to most?
IT FEELS INCREDIBLE!!! DTS has brought together some of the most phenomenal creators on Twitch. I feel so lucky to be one of them and I look forward to all of the incredible collaborations we’re going to have in the near future.

When you’re not gaming, what do you like to do for fun?
When I’m not gaming I’m either working on my socials, painting, or visiting my family. I also LOVE trying new restaurants, so I do that as often as I get the chance.

If you could have any superpower, what would you pick and why?
I would love to be able to shapeshift. Imagine being able to turn into whatever you want whenever; that’d be absolutely amazing.
