DTS Freshman Class: AverageAden

Intro

My name is Aden Suor and I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I began gaming very young with various games on the family computer, PlayStation, and Xbox. I’ve always been very competitive as evident by at the age of 9 I began playing in a few local Halo 2 tournaments. Needless to say, I was the youngest by a long-shot. I continued gaming in my free-time over the years until that came to a halt towards the end of high school as I was heavily involved in athletics, specifically swim and golf, and did not have much time outside of that. Fast forward a couple years and streaming, as well as the entire gaming industry, was growing exponentially. I found myself in a crossroads in my own life and had always been told from old gaming buddies that they could see me streaming my gameplay as I’ve always been good at gaming and making others laugh. With that said, I gave myself a one-year timeframe to give it my all and see if I could make it in the gaming world. That day was August 18, 2018 when I fired up my very first stream and I have been very fortunate with the opportunities that have come along the way.

What game(s) do you play?

When I started streaming in August of 2018, I began with Fortnite. However, since Apex released in February of 2019, that has been my primary game with over 4500 hours played/streamed. I have also played other FPS games such as Call of Duty, Valorant, Halo, and Hyper Scape to name a few.

What’s your favorite movie? Favorite song/artist?

Wolf of Wall Street is a classic in my book. Likewise, any war-themed movies I enjoy as I’m a bit of a history junky. My taste in music bounces everywhere. 2000’s R&B, 70’s/80’s rock, classic rock, rap, country, pop. I enjoy good music moreso than a specific genre.

How does it feel to be part of the DTS Freshman Class of streamers, and what are you looking forward to most?

It’s an honor to be a part of the Freshman Class of streamers. DTS initially reached out to me within my first year of streaming and I recall thinking that it was one of those “to good to be true” moments. It was the first time a company had reached out to me with the opportunity to work together and my experience with everyone at DTS cannot be more positive. Great people with a great product that I have used ever since.

When you’re not gaming, what do you like to do for fun?

I am heavily involved within the gaming community which takes up a majority of my time, but I do love to golf in the rare occasion I get the chance.

If you could have any superpower, what would you pick and why?

The ability to fly because air travel is expensive and time-consuming.
