HD RADIO™ AD NETWORK GROWS TO 60 MARKETS NATIONWIDE

Columbia, MD – April 9, 2015. iBiquity Digital Corporation, the developer of HD Radio Technology for AM and FM audio and data broadcasting, announced today its unique HD Radio Ad Network has expanded to 60 markets nationwide in less than a year.  Launched in 2014, the HD Radio Ad Network is an aggregated network of HD2/HD3 stations that provides advertisers efficient means to reach unique consumer audiences, and allows content owners syndication opportunities.

The HD Radio Ad Network includes HD2/HD3 stations from leading broadcasters. Additional interested broadcasters are invited to join the Network. The HD Radio Ad Network will be on display at the upcoming NAB Show at the HD Radio booth, Central Hall #545. 

Significant Growth in HD2/HD3 Station Listening

The HD Radio Ad Network consumer audience is growing rapidly, and directly attributable to the increasing number of HD Radio equipped vehicles – now more than 25 Million.  Fall 2014 Nielsen Nationwide ratings reveal HD2/HD3 station listening Average Quarter Hour growth to be 348% and Total Weekly Cume growth of 312% since the Fall 2011 studies.

The HD Radio Ad Network is powered by iBiquity-developed technology that provides ad server capabilities to radio broadcasters. The HD Radio Ad Network Ad Server integrates with participating station’s automation systems and automatically inserts advertisements into over the air programs.  The Ad Server additionally produces real-time affidavits and invoices, thus providing a completely automated means for broadcasters to receive return on investment in HD Radio Technology. The iBiquity advertising sales team is located in New York City and is selling on behalf of participating broadcasters.  Network advertisers include GEICO, McDonald’s, Best Buy and AT&T.

The HD Radio Digital Network will be on display at the upcoming NAB Show at the HD Radio booth, Central Hall #545.  Additional participating broadcasters are welcome.
