HD RADIO™ DIGITAL CAMPAIGN, “THE FUTURE OF RADIO,” SELECTED AS WINNER IN THE 36TH ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS

Columbia, Maryland and Portland, Oregon, June 10, 2015 – The 36th Annual Telly Awards has named “The Future of Radio” a winner of their highest honor, the “Silver Telly.” With over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, iBiquity Digital Corporation and Rock Island Media are truly honored by this recognition.   

“The Future of Radio” is a high-tech look into HD Radio Technology, and was produced by Rock Island Media of Portland, Oregon. Crafted entirely with 3-D animated graphics, viewers are transported into what the future of radio may look like – only to discover that all of the amazing “futuristic” features are available right now. Over 1,000 hours of computer rendering time were required to deliver this cinematic journey, delivered with a pounding, dramatic musical score and narration. The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.  Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.
