Sony 2019 IMAX Enhanced Flagship TVs Price and Availability Announced

This week, our partners at Sony Electronics Inc. have announced the pricing and availability for its new flagship OLED TVs, the MASTER Series, along with other new LCD and OLED TV models. These TVs were announced at the Consumer Electronics Show 2019, drawing plaudits from industry professionals, everyday consumers, and critics alike thanks in part to IMAX Enhanced. With IMAX Enhanced, these televisions bring a premium, IMAX cinematic experience to home entertainment. Not only does it support 4K HDR images with vibrant colors, contrast, and sharp clarity, it also delivers incredible, immersive sound thanks to DTS audio technology. Additionally, IMAX Enhanced unleashes unique content like digitally remastered movies.

On sale at Best Buy, Amazon, and other authorized retailers, the following Sony television sets feature IMAX Enhanced and are available now:

MASTER Series A9G 4K OLED TV: Distinguished as one of the very best Sony TV thanks to its pristine picture quality, color, contrast and clarity, the MASTER Series A9G brings Sony’s premium Picture Processor X1™ Ultimate to precisely and individually control the screens over 8 million self-illuminating pixels. On top of that, the A9G uses Pixel Contrast Booster to bring more color and contrast in bright areas. It is available in 55″ (54.6″ diagonal), 65″ (64.5″ diagonal) and 77″ (74.6″ diagonal). A8G 4K OLED TV: With new technologies Object-based HDR remaster, Super Bit Mapping™ 4K HDR, and dual database processing powered by the X1 Extreme Professor, the A8G is an ultimate 4K HDR viewing experience. X950G 4K HDR TV: The X950G provides one of the most feature-packed 4K HDR LCD viewing experience. Thanks to X-tended Dynamic Range™ PRO, the X950G will bring 6x the contrast of conventional Sony LED TVs and X-Wide Angle and X-Motion Clarity will allow a smooth, clear picture no matter the scene or viewing angle. Additionally, it will soon be compatible with AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support. It is available in 55″ (54.6″ diagonal), 65″ (64.5″ diagonal), 75″ (74.5″ diagonal), and 85″ (84.6″ diagonal). Other TV sets announced include the X850G 4K HDR TV and X800G 4K HDR TV. The MASTER Series A9G 4K OLED 77″ and MASTER Series Z9G LCD TV set pricing and availability will be announced early summer 2019.
