Event Recap: Hispanic Radio Conference

The Hispanic Radio Conference is an annual event organized by Radio INK Magazine that gathers the main representatives of Hispanic broadcasters based in the US who could share ideas, discuss and debate challenges in the radio industry.
As in recent years, Xperi was one of the sponsors of the event and had a branding presence in all collateral materials, a booth with general information about the broadcast solutions: DTS AutoStage, AIM Apps, and Rapid.
Fabián Zamarrón, responsible for business development of Xperi for Mexico and LATAM, had the opportunity to participate in the Technology and Innovation in Hispanic Radio panel along with other technology, sales, and content experts that shared with the audience their thoughts and ideas about how the radio stations need to work and which platforms must put their content, to stay in the public eye.
All the participants in the panel agreed that the pandemic changed the behavior of the listeners and raised their expectations in terms of content consumption and that is where innovation and technology can help broadcasters to continue serving their users and create new business opportunities.
Fabian shared with the audience how DTS AutoStage is helping radio stations worldwide to have again a privileged place in the car dashboard putting the content of the radio within the reach of users and creating a multimedia experience in connected cars and how the analytics presented in DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal, can serve as a guide to broadcasters to understand the interactions between users and radio stations, to plan the correct content that the listeners love and created targeted advertising campaigns according to the location of the users.
